Obamey

For those who missed the “Hope” and “Progress” posters created by artist Shepard Fairey in support of Presidential hopeful, Barak Obama, Fairey created a special PDF file recently. Based on the “Progress” poster, the black/white DIY paster (small version of poster) measured at the standard 8.5″ x 11″ dimension. Man!!! Kaws is every where at the moment.
This guy is on it like a jack rabbit, whether it be making bad ass threads for his clothing label Orginal fake or designing album covers for mates like Kanye, the guy has some serious talent.
This is a little vid I came accross when he started plying his trade back in the day in his teens.

Arkitip #49 Peter Saville

Get involved in this – Saville’s style is timeless and Arkitip is a quality mag & read.
Arkitip No. 0049 will be a virtual catalog of Peter’s work including essays from Saville’s colleagues throughout his career. It will also include two original prints from the designer in an edition of 1500. The prints will be 12 x 12 inches on 100 lb. archival stock and will sit on top of the magazine inside a custom designed box carefully encasing the magazine and prints.
